**Correction: An earlier version of this report used an incomplete results snapshot and understated the sale. A subsequent RM Sotheby’s results recrawl expanded the captured record to 180 sold rows[3] across 199 tracked lots[3] and revised the Pricing Culture tally to $376,277,800. The Ferrari Luce and McLaren F1 GTR results were unchanged.
RM Sotheby's The Monterey Auction 2026 now totals $376,277,800 in Pricing Culture's captured lot records. Those records show 180 sold rows across 199 tracked lots, an 90.5% sell-through[3] rate. Hagerty's independent Monterey review reports RM at $376.1 million with 171 of 194 lots sold. The difference in total and denominator remains under reconciliation; both sources establish that the earlier snapshot was incomplete.
At the top of the sale, the 2026 Ferrari Luce 'Tailor Made' brought $40,000,000. RM Sotheby's states that all proceeds from the charity lot will support educational initiatives through the Ferrari Foundation. The 1996 McLaren F1 GTR sold for $34,655,000[4], followed by the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport at $18,705,000 and the 2023 Ferrari Daytona SP3 at $17,825,000.
That ordering matters: the final results changed both the sale total and the editorial story. The Ferrari Luce and McLaren were not marginal additions; they were the two largest reported results, and omitting them distorted the market signal from the sale.
